We are a boutique art gallery
specializing in contemporary Indian art. What makes us
different? We focus on the artist’s work as much as the artist
himself/herself.
It is not our intention to display all the works of all the well
known Indian contemporary artists, but rather to display only
those limited works of art that we believe represent the best of
a particular artist’s collection of work.
Our goal is to help you, the customer, find the piece of art
that is right for you – a canvas that reflects your personality
and that of your home, your taste, and of course, your budget. |

The Team |

Jyotsna |
|
| |
A lawyer by profession, has been
collecting art and promoting upcoming artists for over 15 years.
Her knowledge of the art market in combination with her genuine
love for Indian contemporary art has gained her the reputation
as one of Bangalore’s eminent art consultants. Jyotsna is
responsible for procuring all the beautiful art you see on this
website, and for providing customers with any advice or
information they need in relation to their purchases. |

Shilpa |
|
| |
Jyotsna’s daughter, is also a
lawyer by profession and is currently pursuing her MBA at
Harvard. Having been brought up surrounded by players and
products of the Indian art world, it was her idea to convert the
family love for and knowledge of Indian art into the venture
that is now Amaya. Shilpa is responsible for the design and
administration of the website. |

Rohit |
|
| |
Lives and works in London. He is
a lawyer by profession and currently works at a hedge fund.
Rohit is Amaya’s financial advisor, and also handles
institutional sales and overseas marketing. |
